  • Aiden Wan

    BRANCH PRESIDENT

My name is Aiden Wan. I am a rising senior at The Peddie School and the current president of UStartTeaching. I enjoy playing tennis, wrestling, creating art, and writing. Having been a part of UStartTeaching for four years, I have witnessed its remarkable growth firsthand. What began with tutoring students at a local library in New Jersey has grown into a national effort, with new branches launching across the country. As president, I am proud to help lead this expanding organization and look forward to its continued impact on communities throughout the United States.

  • Kevin Xu

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

My name is Kevin Xu. I am from Montgomery, New Jersey and am a rising senior at The Lawrenceville School. I like cooking, going to the gym, and reading. I currently serve as the Director of Operations of UStartTeaching’s South Jersey Branch. I joined the organization in 7th grade as an ESL teacher for children in China, back when the organization was still small and only offered a few classes. As the organization continues to grow, I aim to work with the South Jersey Branch to find new and innovative ways to serve the community, particularly by improving access to quality education.
